Sunlight Readable 20x2 Character LCDPart Number: CFAH2002L-YYH-ETStandard 20x2 Character LCD – Dark On Yellow-GreenDo you need an LCD display module with characters large enough to read from a distance in a bright location? Using a 5 x 8 character matrix, this 20 x 2 transflective LCD screen is sunlight readable and is also easy to read in low light. The built-in character set supports English/European text (see page 11 of the Datasheet).
Character LCD display modules are sturdy and reliable and should last through your product's life-cycle. We understand that your projects need displays that will be available for a long time. Crystalfontz is committed to making all of our display modules available for as long as possible. We've sold this classic LCD since 2006. This STN display has a yellow-green LED backlight, rated to operate continuously for up to 17 years! As with most character displays, this one communicates with parallel interface (your choice of 8-bit or 4-bit).
If you have system software written for the common Hitachi HD44780 controller, the integrated Sitronix ST7066U controller is compatible and should work without modification. For command details, see the Sitronix ST7066U datasheet on our website.
No minimum order quantity (MOQ) is required, and every display module comes with a one year warranty. And of course, Crystalfontz is here to help you with bringing up the hardware and software when you integrate this display into your project.
