Description: SANYO Semiconductor has announced product discontinuance of the LC7981 LCD Controller. At this time SANYO has no plans to provide a replacement for the LC7981 which is used in several products as an LCD controller. Our partner factory is making a lifetime buy of the LC7981. Reason: SANYO Semiconductor has announced the end of life of the LC7981 LCD Controller. Impact: Below are the product families that are affected by this end of life notice.

Recommendation: We are requesting that you provide us with a forecast of what your company would need to make it through the end of 2014. This would be considered a life time buy and would require 100% payment up front.
